I am Lisa Antonecchia and I am a Connecticut Justice of the Peace and Ordained Minister Since 2013! I am honored to have been a Justice of the Peace sworn in by the Town Clerk in Hamden, Connecticut until my recent move to North Haven. In December of 2023 I was officially sworn in by the Town Clerk of North Haven, Connecticut as I conitnue to marry couples, which gives me a great sense of pride!
My philosophy of the Wedding Ceremony is that this is the moment, this is the most important part of the wedding day! So let’s make it memorable and unique. The wedding ceremony should take the wedding guests on a journey, on YOUR journey as a couple, providing them a look into who you are and who you will be as a married couple. So creating this one of a kind memory is truly something special.
As a child I grew up in Westchester, New York, and then graduated from The Boston Conservatory, I have spent much of my life surrounded by design, theater performance, and a feeling that any dream can come true, you just need the right support to make it happen.
I have worked as a professional Singer, Actor, Dancer, Director and Choreographer, which provides me a unique quality as a justice of the peace, I can capture the moment and project a “performance” your guests will remember long after the wedding date.
So whether your style is traditional, contemporary, romantic, or completely outside the box, I will work for you in order to create a truly one of kind experience. My style is that we are designing your ceremony with all the elements you desire! I was thrilled to work with Lisa and her Justice of the Peace services! It was no question whether or not we would hire her, and my husband was equally as excited after we left our first meeting with her at the beginning of our engagement. She made the whole process simple and smooth – she even used her excellent planning skills during our final meeting to give us a print out of how everything would go during the rehearsal to ease my mind. She fully customized our ceremony with multiple options combined plus our own written vows and the unity ceremony of our choosing. She is completely open and willing to make your ceremony exactly what you’ve always envisioned, which can be overwhelming, but she helps make the deciding process easier and fun.
